ENERGIE Australia offers an exclusive cost effective and environmental sustainable solution for heating both smaller domestic pools as well as large scale commercial capacity pools and aquatic centres. The ability to offer our commercial clients an environmentally friendly alternative to gas pool heating is unique to ENERGIE Australia. Our Thermodynamic Solar Block ranges from 6 thermodynamic panels (Solar Block 6) to systems with 40 plus panels (Solar Block 40). For larger commercial installations multiple Solar Blocks working simultaneously maybe required. These multi-block systems offer immense cost savings and are exceedingly more environmentally friendly, when compared to the amount of gas required to heat equivalent amounts of water. High grade titanium heat exchangers offer extremely high resistance to swimming pool chlorine and there are zero on-going maintenance procedures. All commercial systems are custom designed by our thermal-engineers following a full site and usage analysis.

THERMODYNAMIC SOLAR BLOCK

The Thermodynamic Solar block is made up of the following main components: a low consumption compressor, responsible for the circulation of the refrigerant throughout the whole system; a heat exchanger that dissipates heat into the water for consumption (Commercial Hot Water); closed heating circuits (Central Heating and Swimming-pool Heating) and an electronic expansion valve, that reduces the refrigerant temperature so that it can travel back into the thermodynamic solar panels and capture heat again.

The Thermodynamics Solar System joins two incomplete technologies, the heat pump and the solar thermal collector.
Heat pumps are quite efficient pieces of equipment, but the heat they produce from their renewable component varies according to changes in the temperature of the environment.
Thermal solar collectors are most effective on hot and sunny days but they are totally inefficient when there is no sun.

Thermodynamic Solar Technology manages to surpass the limitations of both  heat pump and solar collector technologies.
The thermodynamic system’s refrigerant (R134a or R407c) is forced under pressure into the thermodynamic solar panel, where the refrigerant gains heat from the surrounding environment, causing it to expand into a gas. Following this stage, the gas travels through an exchanger, with the help of a small efficient compressor, heating the water. The refrigerant then cools, returning to liquid form, passes through an expansion value and the circuit is repeated.

As the fluid has a boiling temperature of approximately -30ºC, the system works even when there is no sun, providing hot water at 55ºC, day and night, rain, hail, wind or shine, unlike the traditional solar thermal collectors.
The energy consumption of the system is basically the same as a fridge compressor that makes the liquid circulate. There are no ventilators that help the evaporation process, or defrost cycles, which lead unnecessary energy consumption.

The Solar Block controller is the interface between the equipment and the user. Among other functionalities, it gives access to:
